Vrchlabí is an ideal place for winter sports, where you can enjoy tens of kilometres of slopes on skis or snowboards in top areas such as Špindlerův Mlýn, Rokytnice, or Herlíkovice–Bubákov and where you can try out a number of adrenaline sports like ice climbing, snowtubing, and ski jumps.

Cross-country skiing in a national park

One resort with several tens of kilometres of arranged cross-country skiing lines. From Vrchlabí, you can head to Špindlerův Mlýn via Strážné or to Horní Branná and Vejsplachy. You can also enjoy walks through the snowy countryside on foot.
